Is there any contract or commitment required at Tier 1?
No. Campus Ally requires only a simple one-page data-sharing agreement — not a contract. There's no financial commitment, no renewal obligation, and no pressure to upgrade. We ship your materials and you distribute them. That's the whole relationship until you're ready for more.
What budget line does the Campus Partner fee typically come from?
Most Campus Partner agreements are funded through student affairs programming budgets, Title IX office resources, Greek life chapter funds, or student health and wellness allocations. At $2/student annually, it typically represents one of the smallest line items in a student wellbeing budget.
How does Cray contact our students, and can we control the messaging?
Cray reaches students through the communication channels your institution shares with us — email lists, SMS, or both. All outreach is branded as a campus safety resource, is compliant with student data privacy standards, and can be reviewed by your team before sending. You remain in control of what goes out under your institution's name.
What does the monthly coverage report include?
Campus Partners receive a monthly report showing student sign-up numbers, Cray app engagement rates, reports run by product type, and overall campus "safety coverage" — the percentage of your student body that has actively engaged with Cray. This data can be used in Title IX reporting and student wellness program reviews.
Does the Launch Partner event fee cover travel?
Yes. The $5,000 Launch Partner event fee includes all travel expenses for Cray founder Justin Smith — flights, accommodations, and ground transportation — regardless of campus location within the continental United States.
Can Greek life chapters or individual student organizations partner with Cray independently?
Absolutely. Cray's Dating Safety Events are designed specifically for sororities, fraternities, and student organizations that want to bring relationship safety programming to their members — independent of a broader university partnership. Contact us to discuss chapter-level options.
