The Flyers

Five printables. Every mailbox, board, and stall.

The three safety flyers are letter-size PDFs designed to be read in under a minute by a resident walking past β€” they work just as well in black and white. The two mailbox flyers are ready-to-print designs for door drops and mail slots. Print as many as you want, for as long as you want.

10 RED FLAGS

10 Red Flags Every Resident Should Know

The patterns worth naming β€” from monitoring and isolation to charm that flips the moment it's told no. Written for residents, not researchers.

Best for: bulletin boards, bathroom-stall boards, common rooms.

BEFORE YOU MEET UP

The Before-You-Meet-Up Checklist

Nine checkboxes for meeting someone from an app β€” video chat first, stay public, share location, set an exit text. With write-in lines for your safety number and staff on duty, so every print is yours β€” campus safety or your building's security line, whichever your residents call.

Best for: move-in packets, orientation tabling, door drops.

Where They Work

Built for the places residents actually look

πŸ“¬ Move-in packets

Day one β€” dorm or apartment β€” before habits form. The checklist flyer earns its keep here.

πŸ“Œ RA & lobby boards

A board that names real patterns beats a board that says "be safe." Floor wing or leasing lobby alike.

πŸšͺ Bathroom-stall boards

The most-read publication in any building. Two minutes of undivided attention.

πŸŽͺ Orientation, tabling & leasing

A takeaway that survives the tote-bag purge β€” works at the leasing desk as well as the involvement fair.

πŸ—“ Programming & resident events

Open with the red-flags flyer, close with the app intro β€” a ready-made hour for RAs or community managers.

🏠 Mailbox & door drops

Quiet distribution for the residents who'd never take one in public β€” that's what the mailbox flyers are for.

The Honest Part

Why free?

Because a resident who learns to spot a pattern before it becomes a crisis is the mission working. Cray exists to help students objectively evaluate the people they meet β€” and student housing, on campus or off, is where most of that meeting happens. The flyers are free the way the core app is free: CrayScoreβ„’, SchemerScoreβ„’, and BaeScoreβ„’ cost nothing, forever.

FOR YOUR NEXT STAFF MEETING

One flag is a conversation. A pattern is an answer.

That's the whole curriculum. The flyers just make it printable.

Questions Housing Teams Ask

The fine print (there isn't much)

Are the flyers really free?

Yes β€” download and print as many as you want, every semester, no email required. They're part of how Cray supports student housing whether or not there's a formal partnership.

We're not part of a school β€” can we still use these?

Absolutely. If you house college students, these are for you: purpose-built student apartments, private dorms, Greek houses, co-ops, and off-campus communities. No university affiliation required, no permission needed.

Can we customize them for our community?

The checklist flyer has write-in lines for your safety number and staff on duty β€” campus safety or your building's security line, whichever your residents call. A pen makes every print yours. For co-branded materials and a full launch kit, that's what partnerships are for.

Do residents need the app for the flyers to matter?

No. The red-flags and checklist flyers stand entirely on their own β€” they teach patterns, not products. The app is the follow-through for residents who want to track what they're seeing.

How do we partner with Cray officially?

Schools start with the free Campus Ally tier β€” launch materials included, $0 to start. Off-campus student housing operators are welcome in the same conversation. Visit the campus page or reach out through the contact form and Justin will personally get back to you.

Put one on a board this week.

That's the entire ask. Print, post, done β€” and somewhere down the hall, a pattern gets a name before it gets worse.
